Field that scrubs
The grey fill is the value and the short pill at its edge is the grip.

- The drag is relative, so pressing never moves the value, and the edge of the fill follows the pointer one to one, snapped to 5 W or 5 g/h.
- Once a drag is under way the pointer is locked, so the value keeps following past the edge of the screen while a drawn ↔ wraps the window; Escape puts the value back.
- Arrows step once, Shift ten steps, Alt a tenth with one more decimal, and holding − or + repeats after 400 ms, speeding up to every 28 ms.
