Paint worklet terrain

A field of contour dots behind the headline is painted by the browser from animated custom properties. Move the cursor and the terrain rises under it.

CSS Paint API, with a canvas fallback

  • Off the main threadThe browser calls the painter itself. The script only writes the cursor position into two custom properties.
  • FallbackA browser without the Paint API runs the same painter on a canvas.
