Breadcrumbs that open to siblings
Each step of the path is a small menu of the page’s neighbours. You can jump sideways at any level without going up first.
Known from the path bar in Finder and VS Code, rare on websites
- SidewaysFrom "Trail shoes" you can go straight to "Road shoes", or from "Running" to "Cycling", without going back to an overview.
- Like a menu barOnce one menu is open, hover switches straight to its neighbour, and the panel glides and resizes.
- The path builds itselfWhen you pick a new level, the old steps disappear and the new ones slide in one at a time.
