Header that changes ink with the page

The header is transparent and always legible. Over light sections it is dark, over dark sections and images it is light, and in the transition it splits exactly where the sections meet.

Common on studio sites, here with the switch mid-letter

We design rooms you want to stay in.

Light is the first material.

We start every project by measuring where the sun is.

  • Two headers stackedA dark and a light version sit exactly on top of each other. The light one is clipped so it only shows over the dark sections.
  • Mid-letterThe clip follows the edge of the sections pixel by pixel, so a word can be half dark and half light in the transition.
  • No blend trickMany use mix-blend-mode, which gives strange colours over images. Here each section picks its own ink.
