How the prototypes are checked

Behavior

A Playwright script clicks and types through every prototype in Chromium against the Worker with its content security policy on. It uses a virtual passkey with PRF for P5, cuts the network for P8 and P12, and measures the frame time of P12's list of 10,000 rows.

The design system's checks

The design system's lint checks the markup and the layout CSS for hand-written colors, sizes outside the scale, a pointing-hand cursor and more. Its measured check opens every page in Chromium, hovers and focuses every component, and compares what it measures with the specification.

The writing check

Every page's text and every message in the scripts pass the writing check: US English, no dashes as punctuation, no fragments and no sentences without content.
