Document generator (P10)

A quote filled in once and written as a PDF with its typeface embedded and as a DOCX.

The PDF

The quote is laid out on A4 pages in points: the company, the client, a table of lines whose head repeats on every page, the totals with VAT, and the notes. Long descriptions wrap by the width of each word in the typeface. The PDF writer embeds each face as a TrueType subset with a map back to the characters, so the text can be selected, searched and copied, including æ, ø and å.

The DOCX

The DOCX is the same quote as paragraphs and tables, and its default face is set to the quote's typeface. Word uses the typeface by name, so it shows when the typeface is installed.

Your own typeface

Drop TrueType files with glyf outlines to set the quote in them. The heaviest file of weight 600 or more becomes the bold face.

Where the writers come from

The PDF and DOCX writers are Zibaldone's manuscript export, bundled for the browser. The quote is written entirely in the browser.
